A 19th century Empire style mahogany salon chair, the back of tapering form with turned top rail having a beaded and acanthus decorated knop, the central lyre back with applied ormolu swans heads, above a cane panel seat, and gilt metal mounts to the apron, on square tapering front legs terminating in ormolu paw feet.
