A George III silver oval teapot, maker Joseph Scammell, London, 1789, with floral banded decoration, having a shallow domed hinged lid, 27cm long, 385gms, 12.40ozs
Overall condition is fair. All marks are clear and legible. There are two small dents to one side of the teapot. The walls appear to be thinned There are no signs of any repairs or restoration. The lid sits flat to the body. The hinge pin is worn so the lid wobbles. Otherwise ok.
