An 18th century green glass onion-shaped wine bottle, 14cm high. (reputedly unearthed in Devon).
Overall condition is fair for a bottle that has been buried in the earth. It has an oily patina to 80% of the exterior body. There are no cracks or star cracks when shining a light through the bottle. There is a split to the neck of the bottle or possibly just a flaw its difficult to tell due to the patination. The ring to the neck is in good order. There are no signs of any repairs or restoration.
