A Victorian silver teapot, maker Martin, Hall & Co, London, 1890, monogrammed, of ovoid form with writhen and floral decoration, with acanthus capped handle, 28cm long, 692gms, 22.28ozs (Exemption ref H13J4XF5).
Overall very good, decoration still crisp. No signs of repair. Silver (not wooden) handle has a very slight play. Hinged cover does not quite sit flush
